My frustration came to a head this evening, so I finally decided to see if the brilliant minds on the GE website could give me an answer to my frustrations with my new washer. The "Frequently Asked Questions" section was no help, so I tried typing in "keywords" without results. When I typed my question in a full sentence, it sent their system into "tilt" mode.
When all else fails, click on the little button that says "contact us by email."
As they really do not **want** me to contact them, it tried suggesting I should go to the "knowledge base" on the website to find an answer to my question.

So I typed out my handy-dandy question, in hopes of a polite and helpful response:
Because my detergent does NOT dissolve in the too-cool “cool water settings” on this washer, I have to fill it partway with warm water and agitate the detergent to fully dissolve it. No, I do ***NOT*** want to switch to liquid laundry detergent, thank you very much. I want to re-start my wash cycle and finish filling the washer, but instead of re-starting, it drains every time I try to re-start the washer. I have also had heavily-soiled items that need a longer wash cycle, but I cannot re-set this washer to the beginning. I actually WANTED a washer with a mechanical dial that could be set to the specific point in the wash cycle I chose, but my old washer died during Thanksgiving 2014 and I did not find one available locally at that point in time. I did not realize how highly IRRITATING this washer was going to be!!!!
